Welcome to DraftLab Cup Series Season Two. This rulebook establishes the official scoring system, conduct standards, penalty structure, incident review process, In-Season Challenge format, playoff platform, replacement-driver policy, and league authority for the NASCAR 26 season.
All drivers are expected to understand and follow these rules so the league remains competitive, fair, organized, and respectful from the opening race through the season finale.
Championship Scoring System
Championship points are awarded to the top 20 finishers in each race. First place earns 20 points, with each position after that receiving one fewer point through 20th place. Drivers finishing 21st or worse receive 0 championship points.

Weekly Track Selection
Track selection will be made every Monday by CEO50. Drivers are responsible for checking league announcements and preparing for the selected track before the scheduled race.
Penalty Rules & Suspension System
Penalties protect clean competition and may be adjusted when the severity or circumstances of an incident require additional discipline.
DraftLab Cup Series is committed to clean, competitive, and respectful racing. Penalties may be issued when a driver's actions negatively affect another driver's race, competitive integrity, or the league community.

Suspension System
The following framework is the league's general escalation model. It may be adjusted based on the severity, circumstances, and history of each incident.

Suspension Appeal Process
A driver who receives a suspension may request an appeal of that suspension. The purpose of an appeal is to give the suspended driver an opportunity to provide additional context, explanation, or evidence for league officials to review.

Incident Reviews & Zero-Tolerance Policy
Video evidence helps officials evaluate intent, context, and responsibility after significant race incidents.
Drivers may submit race clips for review when they believe an incident should be investigated. Drivers are encouraged to save footage whenever possible, especially after a significant incident.

Zero-Tolerance Policy
DraftLab Cup Series takes a strong stance against conduct that damages competitive integrity or the community environment. The league maintains a zero-tolerance approach toward:
- Intentional wrecking
- Retaliation
- Cheating
- Collusion
- Repeated toxic or disrespectful behavior
Season Two In-Season Challenge
A separate 40-driver, head-to-head single-elimination competition running alongside the main championship.
Season Two introduces a 40-person In-Season Challenge. This is a separate single-elimination competition designed to give league members another opportunity to compete for a special prize during the season.
Each matchup is 1v1. The winner advances to the next round, while the loser is eliminated from the In-Season Challenge.

In-Season Challenge Prize
The final competitor standing will receive a special prize and be officially crowned the DraftLab Cup Series Season Two In-Season Challenge Champion.
The In-Season Challenge is separate from the main championship standings and provides an additional competitive opportunity for participating drivers.
Playoff Format
The Season Two championship playoffs feature the top 16 racers and a 10-race playoff schedule selected by CEO50.
The DraftLab Cup Series Season Two playoff platform is built around a 16-driver playoff field. At the conclusion of the qualifying portion of the season, the top 16 racers in the championship standings will make the playoffs.

Replacement Driver Policy
Approved replacements allow the league to fill an open position without resetting the competitive value of that seat. Replacement buy-ins vary by the point in the season and the standings position being inherited.
If a driver is removed from DraftLab Cup Series and their position becomes available, the league may allow a new member to join as a replacement driver. This policy also applies when a removed driver is currently in playoff contention.
What a Replacement Driver Takes Over

Replacement Driver Buy-In
If a driver is removed during the season and the league needs a replacement, the replacement driver's buy-in is based on when they enter the league and, during the second half of the season, the standings position they are taking over.

This policy allows the league to remain competitive and prevents an open position from unnecessarily reducing the number of active competitors.
